The fund's investment adviser seeks to achieve the fund's investment objective by investing in a broadly diversified portfolio of equity securities (the "Equity Portfolio"), while seeking to generate income, hedge volatility and reduce the downside risk of the Equity Portfolio by buying and selling put and call options (the "Options Portfolio").
