The fund primarily targets equity securities that its investment advisor identifies as undervalued at the point of purchase. Its holdings also encompass a range of fixed-income assets, including corporate debt, convertible bonds, and high-yield instruments—frequently referred to as speculative-grade or "junk" bonds. These debt investments are chosen with the aim of generating income, capital appreciation, or both. A significant majority of its investments are concentrated in securities from U.S.-based companies.
